Blogmas Day 1: November Favorites

novemberfavoritescover Happy December 1st! The Christmas season is officially upon us and that makes me SO excited! It feels so good to be back, I haven't been able to post in 2 whole weeks! With Thanksgiving and finals coming soon my life has been  a whirlwind of family gatherings and large essays/projects. But, I'm officially back and I come bearing gifts. In celebration of my favorite time of year I will be hosting a "blogmas" on Something Shannon throughout the month of December! This means instead of my normal average of 2 posts a week I will be posting EVERYDAY! So be sure to check back often for my newest post. Anyway, let's get talkin' about some of my favorite products from November...

Every beauty blogger and their sister have been talking non-stop about this seemingly magic concealer. It's honestly the best under-eye concealer I've ever used. The texture is incredibly creamy and covers even the darkest of circles. I also love that  it doubles as an undereye and spot concealer for redness and blemishes.  Plus, it sets gorgeously without creasing! The only downside is that it's sold out in almost every shade everywhere. So I'm hoping they restock soon, because I'm in a need of a backup!

I picked this bronzer up during the VIB Sale as a total impulse buy. Being so fair it's always difficult for me to find a good bronzer that isn't too dark or too warm. But I'd heard good things about this one, so I picked it up in the lightest shade, Milk Chocolate and I'm glad to report it's gorgeous on fair skin tones. Plus, it smells straight up like chocolate. My dog sniffs it out from a few rooms away, it's so funny! Andddd can we talk about that beautiful packaging!? It looks so luxurious. Too Faced wins the packaging game by a long shot.

This is by far my favorite foundation of ALL time. I would describe it as buildable medium coverage, but it gives the skin the most beautiful natural look. One thing I HATE about so many foundations is that they always break up on my nose and forehead, this ones lasts all day all over the face and does so flawlessly. This foundation is pretty moisturizing, but with a little powder, still works well on my oily areas. For dry, combo or oily skin types I definitely think it could work flawlessly on all three!

The moment I saw this palette was releasing I knew I needed it in my life. If Kathleen puts her name on it I'm definitely going to buy it because everything she does is phenomenal! For a $15 this palette is, in my opinion, the best she has ever done. I would honestly compare the quality of these eye shadows to those of the Naked palettes. They are dense but blend beautifully. I especially love the variety of transition shades and the blendability of the darker colors. And the metallics!!! So if there is one downfall of this palette, it's that the metallic shades don't apply very well with a brush. BUT, if you use your finger to apply them they are one of the most metallic shadows I have in my collection! The true gold shade in the first row and the unique green are especially gorgeous. Unfortunately this palette is limited edition and is no longer in stock. Buuttttt, Kathleen announced a few weeks ago that the palette will launch again this month! So keep an eye out, for $15 this palette is WAY worth it!
