Hello Loves! As most of you probably already know my birthday was at the end of last month, and to celebrate I went on a HUGE haul with my best girlies. Of course, being me I had to splurge a little in Sephora and Ulta. I also bought a ton of clothes, jewelry, the cutest little gold Illinois mug, and some makeup items online from Morphe and Colour Pop! (These items are not included in this post but comment below if you want to hear my thoughts so far on my Morphe brushes and Colour Pop order)! Sit back and relax, this one is going to be long!
So I heard about this little facial spray from Mandy on her incredible blog A Girl Obsessed and I immediately knew I needed it. I’ve been scouring Ulta’s aisles since and finally found it! I’ve only had it for a couple weeks, but I am already obsessed. The spray has ingredients of aloe, herbs and rosewater and claims to be cruelty and parabon free. Not only is it super refreshing, it also smells like a bouquet of sweet roses, incredible. I love spritzing it all over my face with it to wake me up in the morning, this is definitely going to be a long time favorite for me!
Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Nude Lip $28 (No longer in stock, I'm so sorry! :( I will update you guys if they re-stock!)
I saw this, I wanted it, I got it. Seriously this set is a sweet deal, it includes a full size Nars lipstick in Dolce Vita, a sample of Marc Jacob’s lipliner in prim rose, a sample of the Laura Mercier Milky Way Crème Smooth Lipstick, a full size NUDESTIX Lip + Cheek Crayon in Whisper and a delux sample of Tarte’s Tarteist Lip Paint in Namaste Nude. The Nars lipstick alone is $26, so I repeat you are getting a sweet deal! So far I have been really loving the Marc Jacob’s lipliner and Nar’s Dolce Vita combo. I like to fill my lips with the liner and apply Dolce Vita on top, it’s seriously to die for.
Oh. Em. Gee. I am obsessssssed with this! I know, I know I have barely used it yet. But it is so beautiful. It comes with four quite large magnetic pans of various highlight shades called Hard Candy, Mimosa, Starburst and Crushed pearl that can be worn alone or blended together to create a gleaming look. I honestly can’t get enough of this. So far my favorite shade is Crushed Pearl, it’s the perfect white highlight with the perfect amount of shine.
So I am a huge Lorac eye shadows fan. The Lorac Pro Palette is my all time cult favorite, I use it almost daily and when I travel, it’s my go to. So I was so excited when I saw this palette launched. I am also such a neutral girl and it is so so rare to find a palette of all neutrals. But I was a little nervous when I did get it because the ratings weren’t too great. And I admit, the pigmentation could be better. It’s true, the incredible Lorac formula seems to be lacking in this palette’s formula. I find that most of the shades appear to look pretty much identical when swatched, and none of them are very deep in color. Despite this I still really like this palette, the shadow still lasts on my lids all day and night, and even without a wide color spectrum it is very nice for everyday wear. Plus the packaging is super sleek and compact!
This stuff is deemed holy grail for most of the beauty world for a reason ladies and gents. That’s all I have to say. Okay actually I have more to say, but really this stuff is great. I have been putting off this purchase for way too long, and now that I’m in, I’m all in. I have been so impressed with the color range and wear of this product. It is so creamy and blends so beautifully under my eyes without creases. I recently mentioned the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye concealer in my lasts favorites post, and I can now confidently say I like this concealer even more.
I read about this little guy over at A Balancing Peach and I was really intrigued. With her review and a pretty decent price tag I figured it was worth the try. I have only worn it a few times so far, but I am pretty dang impressed. I have really short, really thin lashes and honestly, this stuff made them look so voluminous. I can’t wait to keep trying this one out!
I have heard so many positive things about these inexpensive liquid lipstick options so I figured why not check it out. So far I really like the formula, it’s very creamy, not too watery and doesn’t seem to dry my lips. But I have only worn it once so far, so time will tell.
Have you tried any of these products? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
